7 – Millennial Kingdom Administration

Genesis 1:28

And God blessed them, and God said unto them, be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

The plan was simple.

The knowledge and wisdom were in full supply.

The authority and power were complete, and unquestionable, and backed-up by God.

But Adam went with a “better” idea.

Christ Jesus, the Word of God, the Lord of lords and King of kings, the ever-obedient son of God will carry out what Adam failed to due back in God’s Garden in Eden.

Of course, the plan given to Jesus was different than the plan presented to Adam.

Redemption, salvation, forgiveness, were not needed when Adam was presented with God’s plan. But the goal of a family was the same.

However, the means of accomplishing the goal was different.

The Millennial Kingdom Administration begins the answer to a prayer Jesus prayed during his earthly ministry.

Matthew 6:9b-10

…Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, in earth, as it is in heaven.

What can be said of the Millennial Kingdom of Christ?

It is not the original paradise reborn.

The oxygen quality and content were diminished greatly with the Adversary’s cataclysmic attack and disaster of the flood in the days of Noah. The ground has been cursed and polluted for thousands of years. Mankind itself still has death working in their mortal bodies. With the presence of natural man, by that I mean a person of only body and soul, unrighteousness is still present in the Millennial Kingdom Administration.

However, it is like something we have never seen, or experienced, or maybe even imagined. Those who have imagined such a time and place, feared they would never be good enough to gain entry. Although some have imagined something like a paradise but with them as the architect.

As fearful and frightening a time as was the Revealing Administration with its death and destruction, oppression and subjugation, hardheartedness and cruelty, darkness and ungodliness. The Millennial Kingdom of Christ is an administration that takes great strides toward the “fulness of times.” It will have peace and joy, protection and justice, healing and wholeness, one language and one worship, fulness of spirit and the presence of our loving God.

The return of Christ brings an end to the time of tribulation and as well as, the time of the Gentiles.

Luke 21:24

And they shall fall by the edge of the sword and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

Matthew 24:29-30

Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Zechariah 14:4

And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

Revelation 19:11-16

And I saw heaven opened and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

The transition into the Millennial Kingdom Administration begins the moment Jesus Christ defeats the forces of the antichrist and the antichrist and his false prophet are thrown in the lake of fire. Then the Adversary, Satan, the Devil, the Serpent is bound in the bottomless pit.

Revelation 20:1-3

And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, and cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

With the Adversary bound the curse on the land from Genesis 3 is ended. For, in having the dominion, the Adversary was the curse upon the land.

Christ will also send forth his angels to collect the elect who have endured the times of tribulation.

Matthew 24:31

And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Mark 13:27

And then shall he send his angels and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

Isaiah 11:12

And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.

Matthew 24:40-41

Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

After the elect are gathered there will be a judgment. A judgment of nations. This does not concern only the times of tribulation but extends to all of Israel. Israel became a nation at the base of Mount Sinai after God delivered them from Egypt.

Exodus 19:7-8

And Moses came and called for the elders of the people and laid before their faces all these words which the LORD commanded him. And all the people answered together, and said, all that the LORD hath spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people unto the LORD.

Israel did not answer as tribes, but as one, “…we will do.” This is when the twelve tribes became the nation of Israel. This judgment concerns how Israel was treated. It does not however include Our Time, since during Our Time Israel is held in abeyance.

Matthew 25:32-34

And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

In verse 32 the nations, ethnos in the Greek, is generally translated Gentiles.

Joel 3:1-2

For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead [shaphat = judge] with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.

You can see this clearly in God’s promise to Abraham.

Genesis 12:3

And I will bless them that bless thee and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

The judgment of the nations is connected to God’s promise to Abraham, for Israel is the progeny of Abraham. God’s covenant with Abraham extends to Abraham’s family. Therefore, Israel is God’s chosen people.

Genesis 15:18

In the same day, the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:

This judgment of nations deals with God’s promise to Abraham,” …I will bless them that bless thee and curse him that curseth thee…”

The time of transition into the Millennial Kingdom is the beginning of the restitution of all things that Peter spoke of in Acts.

Acts 3:21

Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

This period of transition will last 45 days after the defeat of the antichrist.

Daniel 12:11-12

And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

Twelve hundred and sixty days ends the last three and a half years of the tribulation. These extra 30 days and then 45 days are the time of transition. During this time, the restitution of all things begins, including the antichrist into the lake of fire, and Satan bound in the bottomless pit, and the judgment of nations, and the cleansing of the sanctuary.

There will be three types of people who will be a part of the Millennial Kingdom Administration.

First, there will be those who walk into the administration having endured the time of tribulation. These will be the men and women of body and soul, people of flesh and blood. These are those who will have babies and increase the population of the earth, filling all the earth as God had instructed Adam and Eve in Genesis 1.

The population increase over the course of 1,000 years will be astronomical.

Jeremiah 30:19

And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.

Ezekiel 36:10-11

And I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, even all of it: and the cities shall be inhabited, and the wastes shall be builded: And I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bring fruit: and I will settle you after your old estates and will do better unto you than at your beginnings: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

Yet, for all the increase of population the earth will produce its bounty.

Isaiah 65:21-23

And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them. They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat, for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands. They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.

Amos 9:13-15

Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt. And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens and eat the fruit of them. And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the LORD thy God.

Peace between man and animals will return, as in the years between the Garden and the flood.

Isaiah 11:6-9

The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

There will be peace among nations.

Micah 4:1-4

But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it. And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore. But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken it.

There will be justice throughout the land.

Isaiah 9:7

Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

All will speak one language as the confusion from the tower of Babel is reversed.

Zephaniah 3:9

For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent.

Yet for all these aspects, and more, in the Millennial Kingdom Administration, at the end of the thousand years Satan will be loosed for a season and he will once again deceive many.

Revelation 20:7-8

Why, you ask, would God allow such a thing to happen? And how could people be so foolish to believe the lies of the Adversary?

The “why” is simple.

Deuteronomy 30:19-20

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

God has always desired a person to “choose” Him.

Agape love, Divine love, can only be a freewill decision to give.

Family is designed around tenderness and commitment.

Fellowship is mutually desired companionship.

Being in God’s Family is an individual’s freewill decision.

David is described by God as a man after His own heart. Hear his words.

Psalm 27:4

One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.

God desires people to freely choose to be with Him, to be a part of His Family.

The second question, how could people be so foolish, that they decide to walk away from God, to walk away from their King and Lord, after a thousand years of peace and abundance? That answer is perhaps a little harder to understand, but not if you understand the Adversary.

Genesis 3:1a

Now the serpent was more subtil…

2 Corinthians 11:3b

…as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

What happened with Eve could be handled as being seduced. A seduction is slow, it is delicate, it can be beautiful to the eye, even unseen by the mind. It is flirtatious and flattering. It is like a spider’s web or the bait hiding the hook. Often it is unrealized before the trap is sprung.

Adam and Eve were perfect in body, and soul, and spirit. Eve was seduced and perhaps Adam saw a quicker way to be like His Father. The men and women in the Millennial Kingdom Administration are not perfect and they will be dealing with the father of all lies.

John 8:44

Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Although the Adversary is sharp in what he does, anyone who will know and believe the words of God can see through his web of lies and deceptions. Those who are seduced when the Adversary is loosed, how did they spend those peaceful days in Christ’s Millennial Kingdom? Did they hear his words, consider his teachings, follow his directions?

The Second grouping of people to inhabit the Millennial Kingdom of Christ will be those who are raised from the dead in the resurrection of the Just.

Isaiah 26:19

Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.

Revelation 20:4-6

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ and shall reign with him a thousand years.

1 John 3:2

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

Ezekiel 37:13-14

And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves, and shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD.

These are men and women who have believed the promise of God through the millennia since the Garden in Eden. They will have spiritual bodies like unto Christ, as they, like Christ go through the regeneration spoken of in Matthew 19 and described in Ezekiel 37.

There will also be those who have trusted and believed God outside the framework of the nation of Israel.

Hebrews 11:4a

By faith [pistis = believing] Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts…

Hebrews 11 goes on to speak of Enoch by believing, Noah by believing, Abraham by believing, and many others. These are not Israel, but they are believers in the promise of God. Then there is also the Epistle to the Romans.

Romans 2:12

For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law.

God follows this statement with a parenthesis, which is a figure of speech that gives a fuller explanation of what was just said.

Romans 2:13-15

(For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)

In short, God imprinted upon the body and soul of mankind His characteristics, His virtues. A person may have never heard the Mosaic Law, but we all came with that imprint from Genesis 1:26. For a greater examination of the likeness of God imprinted upon man see, The Fall of Mankind, Adam and Eve.

Although all who are regenerated in the resurrection of the Just are believers raised in righteousness, only Israel will be the Bride of the Lamb. Everything stated in God’s Word about the Bride of the Lamb is addressed to the Nation of Israel.

The ancient Jewish wedding had different aspects, just as our modern weddings have different aspects or facets. Traditionally, a Jewish wedding would begin with a contract from a man to the father of the woman he desired to marry. Within this contract the man would state the price he was willing to pay for his bride. If the contract were acceptable to the father and the woman there would be a ceremonial cup of wine to seal the arrangement. The future husband would travel back to his father’s house after telling his bride he would soon return. He would travel to prepare a place for he and his new wife to live.

There would also be gifts. Gift’s from the future husband to his bride and gifts from the future father-in-law to the bride. It is the groom’s father that was responsible to decide when the groom would return for his bride. During this interim time, the bride would gather her friend’s as handmaidens and the groom would gather together his groomsmen.

An interesting point in the Old Testament is made about marriage in Jeremiah.

Jeremiah 31:31-32

Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:

God looked at His Covenant with Israel as a marriage covenant, a marriage contract. God acted as a husband unto Israel in the old covenant under Moses, but Israel broke that marriage covenant. Take the time to read Hosea.

Ezekiel 16:8

Now when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time was the time of love; and I spread my skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I sware unto thee, and entered into a covenant with thee, saith the Lord GOD, and thou becamest mine.

You need to read the context of this entire chapter. Even with the symbolism the flow is easily understood concerning Israel’s broken marriage vow.

In Hosea 2:14 we begin to read about the time of the restitution of all things, the Millennial Kingdom Administration.

Hosea 2:16

And it shall be at that day, saith the LORD, that thou shalt call me Ishi; and shalt call me no more Baali.

Ishi should be translated husband, and Baali should be translated master or Lord. Here in Hosea 2:16 we are reading about the marriage of the Lamb of God and his Bride, Israel.

The New Covenant is the wedding contract that Christ has offered to his bride. With the end of the Revealing Administration, the marriage contract can begin as Christ’s Father tells him it is time to get his bride.

Matthew 26:26-29

And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.

The contract is sealed with a cup of wine and the sharing of bread. It is available for all in Israel to accept the offer of Jesus. Jesus, as the groom to be, sets out the price he is willing to pay for his bride.

John 15:13

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

John 10:11

I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

The groom was also to speak with his bride-to-be telling her he would go and prepare a place for them, but that he would return soon.

John 14:1-3

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

The groom would also have a gift for his wife.

John 10:27-28

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

The gift he offers his bride is eternal life.

The gift from his Father is holy spirit.

John 14:16-17

And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you and shall be in you.

After the resurrection of the Just, the Millennial Kingdom of Christ will have the celebration of the marriage of the Lamb with his bride, Israel. The bride will have gathered her friends, like in the parable of the ten virgins. The groom will also select his groomsmen which come from the third group of people who are a part of the Millennial Kingdom Administration.

The third group of people come from Our Time, our administration. We are the Body of Christ; we are his groomsmen. We will already have been gathered together unto our Lord before the Revealing Administration was re-started. When our Lord returns to remove the antichrist and his forces, we will be right there with our Lord, for we are his Body. You will understand this more fully when we finally consider Our Time in the teachings that are still before us.

2 Corinthians 3:5-6

Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

We have been made able ministers of the New Covenant.

Ephesians 1:22-23

And hath put all things under his feet and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

The believers of our administration are the Body of Christ, Christ is our head. God has made us able ministers of the New Covenant and Christ is the mediator of the New Covenant.

These three groups are the physical people and the spiritual people who will inhabit the Millennial Kingdom Administration.

When the Adversary is loosed from the bottomless pit some of the people who are body and soul will fall for his lies and deceit. They will come together thinking they can make an assault against the King and his people.

Revelation 20:7-9

And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, and shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them.

Although some will stand with the Adversary, they will not stand for long.

Revelation 20:10

And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

After this final rebellion, the Adversary is thrown into the lake of fire.

Then comes the final resurrection and the white throne judgment.

Revelation 20:11-13

And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small, and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

Almost all things will have been accomplished at this point. But I have two more questions before we close.

Those in the resurrection of the Just and those who are the Body of Christ have already started their eternal life. Therefore, they live throughout the Millennial Kingdom of Christ. But what of the men and women of body and soul, do they live for a thousand years since the Adversary has been bound?

Romans 6:23

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Sin has worked in body and soul man since Genesis 3. Death will still occur in the Millennial Kingdom. Their lives will be full and blessed, their lives will be long, but death is not destroyed during the Millennial kingdom Administration.

Revelation 20:14

And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

1 Corinthians 15:26

The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

The second question has been composed by more than a few theologians. What is the point of a Millennial Kingdom of Christ? He has already been victorious; it is not needed.

Genesis 15:18

In the same day, the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:

2 Samuel 7:16-17

And thine house and thy kingdom shall be established for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for ever. According to all these words, and according to all this vision, so did Nathan speak unto David.

Isaiah 9:7

The Millennial Kingdom of Christ is necessary because God has made promises.

Numbers 23:19

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

Isaiah 40:8

The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.

Revelation 20:14-15

And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

This then brings us to the final administration in the second heaven and earth, the Administration of the Fulness of Times.

Ephesians 1:10a

That in the dispensation of the fulness of times…
